My story

Meet Roxie! She can be shy and nervous when meeting new people but once she is comfortable and opens up, she will steal your heart. When she isn`t outside going for walks or getting pets and snuggles, she likes to curl up in her bed for naps and downtime. Roxie also loves her treats and will give you her full attention whether you are training or just want to give her a little snack.Roxie is looking for a family who will let her set the pace and be patient and help her build up her confidence. In return she will offer loyalty and lots of affection.IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:56lbs.HOME TYPE:House. No large or busy apartments.CHILDREN:Yes - Older children with large dog experience due to nervousness and jumping.CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- Cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:First time dog owner possible, large dog experience.TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:At least 2 in person training sessions to work on basic training, basic manners, nervousness and socialization.HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Can be human social once comfortable.
