My story

Hi there, I'm Mr. Smiles! I came to the shelter as a stray, but I haven't let that slow me down one bit! Just like my name suggests, I'm a happy, smiley guy with a huge zest for life! I'm bouncy, energetic, and always ready for whatever fun the day has in store - especially if it involves being around my people! I'm affectionate, playful, and love making friends! I'm still working on my manners when it comes to introducing myself to other dogs (I get pretty overwhelmed sometimes), so I think I would prefer to be your one and only and getting all the attention for myself! With some work, I think there may be a chance for me to make doggy friends someday! Since I'm still young, I could really use someone who's excited to help me learn and use my brain (I'm actually pretty smart!) I promise I'll make it fun! I'd do best with older kids who can keep up with my spunk and enjoy my joyful, energetic personality!
