My story

QUICK FACTS  Name: Winnie Age: About 5 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo Mix Color: White Weight: 17.6kg / 38lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I was on the list for euthanasia at a crowded city pound when kind rescuers stepped in just in time. I am now safe, and I am ready to start a new chapter of my life with my forever family!     MY HEALTH  • All vaccinations up-to-date • Neutered & healthy with no known health issues    MY PERSONALITY  Hi, I’m Winnie, a graceful little lady with a soft but confident charm. I might seem a bit sensitive at first, but I’m really just a delicate, ladylike girl at heart. I’m friendly with other dogs and have a calm, steady personality—very much a typical Jindo. I’m gentle, affectionate, and I rarely bark. It may take me a day or two to fully warm up to new people, but once I do, I show lots of sweet affection. I’m ready to bring quiet loyalty and gentle love into my forever home. If you’re looking for a calm yet charming companion, I might be your girl!    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I am a very social and friendly dog! I love greeting people, including strangers! I love being pet but I’m not too fond of being held in the arms and might get surprised if you suddenly try to hold me. But with patience and time, after we become close and comfortable, I can be held. I haven’t met children under the age of 13, but I know I’ll get along great with them! · With Dogs: I’m not only friendly with people, but with dogs as well! I love saying hello and inviting my dog friends to play! I get along especially well with dogs of my size!  · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have moderate energy level – I like to adventure outside and run around! Then, I am happy to come inside and snuggle comfortably for relaxation. I love going on walks! Sometimes, I might pull strongly on the leash because I’m curious and I want to explore, but with time and training, I know that I will get better at following my person!       TRAINING & HABITS  I don’t guard my food from people or dogs, and I rarely bark. I am calm when I am placed in the kennel. I am trained to potty both indoors and outdoors.     MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever    SPECIAL NOTES  On walks, I can turn into a bit of an energizer and may pull on the leash because I get excited to explore, but with time, patience and training, I’ll bloom into a wonderful companion!    Winnie's Youtube Playlist    Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org  For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2668588##
