Quick Facts •Name: Nabyul •Age: 3 years (born in 2022) •Gender: Female •Spayed: Yes •Breed: Jindo Mix •Color: Brown •Weight: 12 kg / 26 lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed My Personality Hi, I’m Nabyul. I may be small, but my heart is big and it shines brightest when I’m with people. I absolutely love human company and won’t hesitate to come up and lean against you, asking for affection with my whole body. Whether it’s a familiar face or someone new, I’m always ready to give and receive love. Though my past wasn't easy, I was rescued from a dog meat farm, the last one left after all my companions were taken away, I’ve never let that dark chapter dim my light. I carry myself with joy and warmth, and my sweetness is the first thing people notice. If you pick me up and hold me close, I’ll relax right into your arms. And if we become best friends (which we will!), I might even show you my belly as a sign of trust. I have a playful, affectionate energy and a sparkle in my eyes that makes everyone smile. My Social Life •With People: I’m very affectionate and social. I do wonderfully with adults and am also great with kids under 13. I enjoy their energy and love to be part of the fun. •With Other Dogs: I’m generally friendly with other dogs, especially those my size or larger. But I like to have boundaries respected, if another dog is too pushy, I’ll let them know. With proper introductions, I can be a lovely companion. •With Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, so we’d need to see how I respond. On My Walks Walks are one of my favorite things! I do get excited and might pull a bit on the leash, but I always keep an eye on my human and try to follow their lead. With continued walks and encouragement, I’ll get better and better. I also have an excellent habit of doing my business outdoors—no mess inside! Life at Home At home, I’m a bundle of charm. I don’t bark much, I rest quietly in my kennel when asked, and I’m learning how to settle into a home routine. I do get very excited around food especially treats! but once you serve me a proper meal, I eat slowly and calmly, even letting you pet me while I eat. When I’m around other dogs during mealtime, I may growl a bit to let them know my bowl is mine, but with structure and separate feeding, I do just fine. I’m still working on building car confidence, so for now, I may need a little help getting in and out. I’m currently practicing kennel training and holding my potty well, though if I wait too long, I may need to go just like anyone would! And when I get excited, my energy shoots up like fireworks, but once I settle into a home and routine, I know I’ll find my calm. My Ideal Home I’m looking for a home full of love, structure, and lots of cuddles. I’d thrive with someone who enjoys having a sweet, affectionate companion by their side—someone who’s ready to laugh at my silly happy dances and gently guide me when I get a little too excited. My perfect home would have: •A Loving Companion: I adore humans and want to be close to them. •Routine & Reassurance: I feel safest when I know what to expect. •A Bit of Patience: Especially as I continue to grow more confident around food, travel, and other dogs. I’m a bright, beautiful girl with so much love to give, and I can’t wait to start the next chapter of my life with you. Special Note from the Former Owner Just to highlight her personality - very gentle & loving - VERY loyal to her human - loves to play with other dogs! She is very social and always engaging positively with dogs in the neighborhood (may benefit from another dog in the home) - loves walks! Takes her time to be comfortable but loves to get outside for a long walk & sniffs along the way - she is active but loves a snuggle at the end of the day- she is very smart! Not food motivated but very driven by praise and love She is such a love bug honestly… the unpredictability of the kids is just very hard on her. Some quirks for her: - she doesn’t love hardwood flooring - scared of loud sudden noises & younger children (would be fine likely with older kids though) - gets car sick quite Nabyul's Youtube Playlist Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2668591##
