He’s the kind of boy who will happily show off his latest skills, then beam proudly while accepting his well-earned snack payment. When he’s not busy perfecting his next trick or scouting for adventure opportunities, Rune is serving peak fluffiness wherever he goes. CHILDREN:Yes- Older children potentially compatible. Rune is a large dog who can be jumpy and mouthy. CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- Cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatibleACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:Suitable for first-time dog owners. Experience with working or herding breeds is recommended, and research on herding breed characteristics is required.TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:At least two in-person training sessions to work on socialization, basic training and manners.HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Rune is very human social.
