My story

**Note: Currently, Kamsang is in Korea, but will fly to Toronto upon adoption. Background Kamsang is a gentle, loving boy who was rescued in November 2025. He had been left outside without proper food, water, or shelter. He was always hungry and had no place to protect himself from the rain or snow. Thankfully, one of our volunteers found him and stepped in to help. After some conversations, his former owner agreed to surrender him, and Kamsang was brought to our partner boarding house. Today, he is safe and well cared for, living peacefully with other dogs and finally knowing what it feels like to be full and warm. His difficult past has not taken away his kind heart. Personality and Socialization Kamsang is a bright, affectionate, and social boy. He loves people and is not shy about saying hello. Friendly and open, he enjoys human company and happily soaks up attention. His energy level is medium. He enjoys playtime and walks, but he is not overly demanding. With other dogs, Kamsang does best with calm and well mannered companions. He enjoys playing with dogs who are gentle and respectful. Very hyper, loud, or pushy dogs can make him uncomfortable. A peaceful dog friend with a sweet nature would be a lovely match. He would also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home. He has not met cats yet. With a slow and proper introduction, he may adjust well, but this would require patience and guidance. Behaviours Kamsang has shown himself to be an easygoing and well behaved boy. He has not displayed any destructive behaviors. He prefers to potty outside and understands outdoor bathroom routines well. At the vet clinic, he is calm and cooperative, often receiving compliments for his good manners. He handles baths without fuss and walks nicely on leash. He does get excited when it is time to go outside, which is always sweet to see. When left alone, he has remained relaxed and has not shown signs of separation anxiety so far. He is generally quiet and not a big barker. Health and Diet Kamsang is neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. He receives monthly parasite prevention. He eats dry kibble and has not shown any food allergies. He is in good health and ready to start the next chapter of his life with a loving family. Ideal Home Kamsang would thrive in a quiet and peaceful home where he can truly relax and feel secure. He would love a family who enjoys a calm lifestyle and can spend quality time with him. He does not need constant activity, just steady love and companionship. A gentle, friendly dog sibling could be nice, but it is not required. He would be perfectly content as the only dog, soaking up all the love for himself. Homes with very loud or high energy dogs would not be the best fit for his sensitive and peaceful nature.
