My story

Meet Loki! Loki is 6 years old and came to us as an owner surrender when his owner was unable to keep him due to landlord restrictions in the home. He is a very sweet dog but isn't the most comfortable with most invasive handling, and would do best in a home with adopters who will allow him to choose when he wants attention. Loki would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training and loose leash manners, and could live with a home with children 13 years or older as long as they respect his boundaries. He could also live with another dog pending a successful meet and greet. Is he the one for you? Loki is a part of our ACJ Training Program, which means he is currently residing off campus at the Allegheny County Jail where he enjoys enrichment activities, positive reinforcement and force-free training. Basically, he loves full-time with his new best friends and learns manners to better prepare him for you - his future family!
