My story

*No cats * No apartmemts *Medium size *Housetrained *Extremely loyal Princess is a beautiful, Snow White, Terrier mix who is probably made up of a dozen different breeds! She is bigger than what we typically have at this rescue but a lovely size for many. She is still under 20 lbs. She came in with a litter of puppies and was a very devoted mom. She is now spayed and looking for a home with owners who are understanding of her history and have the patience to allow her to settle in. Once she does, you will feel like a King or Queen because she will truly WORSHIP you! She LOVES her person. She is smart and very devoted. She was raised in a household where perhaps men were not very nice to her but she CAN trust and CAN learn to trust a man. She is housetrained and learning leash manners. She’s truly one of those dogs that someday, the person who gives her a chance will say “She’s the best dog I’ve ever had.” We are not sure how she is around young kids but based on experience she would probably do just fine. Overall, I think a quieter household might benefit her. She does get along with other dogs, but becomes possessive and protective of her person. She would probably thrive being the only dog in the household. Princess’s adoption fee is $375 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest. We appreciate all applicants and do our best to pair every dog and family for a successful and happy life.
