At West Valley Animal Rescue, we do things a bit differently. While many rescues take days to respond or never reply at all, we move fast. The application (link below) is the first step and helps us confirm that you and your household are a great fit. Once you submit it, text us right away. We’ll review it quickly, and if approved, we can often schedule a same-day adoption appointment so dogs spend less time waiting and more time loved. https://www.westvalleyanimalrescue.com/app 💙 Meet Karl 💙 Once scared and matted, now the sweetest little shadow you could ask for. Karl is a loving boy who has blossomed beautifully since coming into rescue. When he first arrived he was terribly matted and absolutely petrified, clearly unsure of the world around him, but with patience, kindness, and lots of gentle reassurance he discovered how wonderful it feels to be safe and loved. Now Karl has turned into the sweetest little lap dog who just wants to be close to his people, happily soaking up attention, cuddling whenever possible, and fully embracing the cozy life, especially when it involves burrowing under the covers for a nap. He came to us from the recent 62-dog home we assisted with, and it is clear he was loved, as he has done well with kids and other dogs. Karl learned to use puppy pads in his previous home and has been introduced to using a dog door in his foster home. He is truly such a good dog and will make someone incredibly lucky to call him theirs. Karl’s adoption donation includes his age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, neuter, microchip, collar, leash and 30 days of complimentary pet insurance. Apply below to adopt Karl. We are a foster-based rescue with homes mainly in Goodyear and Buckeye. If approved, you’ll meet a volunteer or foster family at a local pet store we partner with or at a foster home for adoption.
