My story

Cherry is a four year old GSD, fully vetted and microchipped. She was once given a deadline simply for being “too shy.” Thankfully, she was rescued and since then, she has slowly begun to show the beautiful personality that was always there. Every day she grows a little braver and shows a little more of the sweet, gentle girl she truly is. Cherry may be timid at first, but she is also incredibly courageous. She’s looking for a kind, patient family who will give her the time and love she needs to settle in and feel safe. In return, you’ll get to watch an incredibly special dog blossom right in front of you. Once she trusts you, Cherry’s soft and loving personality shines: • She takes treats very gently from your hand • She will happily fall asleep while you brush her • She loves relaxing beside you to share quiet moments • And when she feels happy and safe… she’ll surprise you with adorable zoomies •She also has a howl and will occasionally “sing,” which is one of her cutest quirks She currently lives peacefully with an older cat and has shown playful interest in a younger dog, so she may do well in a home with other respectful pets. Pet introductions would be required. Cherry is house trained and doing well. She is also making progress on the leash. The outside world can feel overwhelming for her, so she takes things one careful step at a time. With patience and encouragement, she continues to grow more confident. Most importantly, Cherry is a gentle soul and not aggressive at all—just a shy girl learning that the world can be a safe place.
