My story

We are looking for the right forever home for our beloved dog, Fiona. This is an incredibly difficult decision because she has been a part of our family for the past 6 years and we love her. Fiona is a 68-pound lab mix. She is loving and affectionate. She loves going on walks and hikes and enjoys being around her family. She is a great guard dog. She likes to cuddle and loves to be petted.Unfortunately, I recently moved and my boyfriend is very allergic to her. We also have other living situation issues that are the reason for us to rehome her. She is alone a lot and often for long periods of time. She does bark at strangers when they enter the home. Once she sniffs them and becomes familiar she is fine. We have a busy household with teenage kids with friends coming and going, we don't feel that our current environment is the best fit for her. She would do best in a calmer household.We want to find the right person/family who will love her and can provide the right environment for her.
