My story

**Note: Currently, she is in Korea, but will fly to Toronto on April 4 upon adoption. Background Eunbee was rescued from a puppy mill in Gimpo, Korea last winter. After her rescue, she moved to our partner boarding house where she has been living with other dogs. Since then she has completed her veterinary checkups and treatments and is now ready to find her forever home. Personality and Socialization Eunbee is a lovely little girl who is smart, gentle, and very affectionate. She has a medium energy level and is an easy companion to care for. Eunbee is friendly with people and does well with both men and women. She is social, enjoys meeting new people, and is not afraid of strangers. She is actually very popular with our volunteers because of her sweet personality. With other dogs, Eunbee does very well. She especially enjoys the company of gentle, loving small dogs. Big dogs can make her a little nervous, but with small friendly dogs she likes to play and also relax quietly together. Eunbee has not yet been tested with cats or young children. With a slow and proper introduction, she will likely do well. Behaviours Since her rescue, Eunbee has shown a calm and easygoing nature. She is trained to use indoor pee pads and will also go outside for her potty when the weather is warm and comfortable. Cold weather is not her favorite. She behaves very well at the vet and is calm during baths. She is still learning leash walking, but she is picking it up quickly and likes to follow her person. When the weather is nice, she will likely enjoy spending more time outdoors. Health and Diet Eunbee is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and receives monthly parasite prevention. After rescue, Eunbee was diagnosed with early stage heart disease (stage B2) and has started taking heart medication. Many dogs live long, happy lives at this stage. Eunbee currently eats well, plays normally, and shows no signs of discomfort. Many dogs remain at this stage for years without progression. Her medication helps protect her heart and slow the progression of the disease. Eunbee will need to take her heart medication every day for the rest of her life. Regular monitoring and heart checkups a couple of times a year are also recommended to help keep her healthy and comfortable. Eunbee eats dry kibble twice a day and has not shown any signs of allergies. She has a few missing front teeth. Ideal Home Eunbee is a gentle little soul who does not ask for much. What she wants most is a loving home where someone can spend plenty of time with her so she is not alone for long periods. She enjoys affection, cuddles, and quiet companionship. Because of her heart condition, Eunbee would do best with a dedicated family who is willing to monitor her health and provide the care she needs so she can live a long and happy life surrounded by love. ------------------------------------ For more info, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/eunbee-3/
