QUICK FACTS Name: Cider Age: Born in 2025 Oct 23 (Around 5 months old) Gender: Female (Spaying to be scheduled) Breed: Mixed (Shih Tzu, Pug) Color: Brown, White, Black Weight: 3.5kg / 8lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY My mother, Juicy, gave birth to me and my siblings, but sadly we were left neglected and abandoned early in life. Even though our start was uncertain, we were lucky that kind rescuers found us just in time and brought us to safety. Now I’m healthy, cared for, and ready to begin a bright new chapter with a loving family who will give me the life every puppy deserves.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spaying to be scheduled soon I have a little underbite — but it doesn’t slow me down one bit! I eat just fine and live my best life every day. If anything, it just adds a little extra charm and character to my adorable face. Cherry eye surgery to be scheduled soon   MY PERSONALITY I’m even smaller in real life and absolutely adorable! I’m a sweet and goofy little pup who’s guaranteed to make you laugh with my playful personality. Out of all my siblings, I’m the most outgoing and the goofiest one — always ready to bring smiles and fun wherever I go.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a teeny bit shy at first, but I warm up quickly—especially if you have a few tasty treats! Once I feel comfortable, I happily accept pets and affection and love snuggling in your arms. I also allow myself to be picked up and enjoy being close to my people. · With Dogs: I’m friendly with my dog friends and love greeting new pups and making new companions along the way. I enjoy socializing and sharing happy moments with other dogs, and I generally feel most comfortable with dogs around my size. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a high energy level and love to run around and explore my surroundings like the curious puppy I am. Adventure and playtime make me so happy! After I’ve burned off my energy, I’m more than ready to settle down and enjoy a cozy nap.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m currently learning my leash manners and making great progress every day! I’m eager to learn and enjoy spending time with volunteers and staff while practicing new skills. I have lovely manners around food and don’t guard my meals from people or other dogs. I’m generally a quiet little pup, though I might let out a small bark now and then if I’m hoping for a bit of attention or extra love. I’m also learning how to relax calmly in my kennel, and I’m doing well with my potty routine — I can use both indoor pee pads and go outdoors too. I’m still a young pup figuring out the world, and with a little guidance and love, I’m sure to grow into the most wonderful companion.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding that I’m a young pup and will need continued guidance in social training and basic obedience training   SPECIAL NOTES I love curling up in cozy places like hammocks, soft blankets, and fluffy cushions—it’s my favorite way to relax after a fun day. I’m the perfect balance of a curious, playful puppy and a little snuggle bug who knows when it’s time to settle down for a nap. I also have a very unique and adorable face that people say is impossible to forget.
