My story

Best Match: Seeking an adopter with some experience Could join a calm home with cat savvy teens Needs to be the only cat Needs to be indoor only Emmy is curious, affectionate and thrives on companionship. She’s also a beautiful girl with the palest green eyes and stripes galore! In other words, the total package! Emmy loves her humans deeply. She’ll be excited when you come home and wants to be near you most of the time. She loves pets and snuggles but is also independent and prefers contact on her own terms. Emmy will let you know her boundaries but it would be helpful if her person can read cat body language. When the time is right, you’ll be rewarded with her warm, comforting purr.  This sweet girl is curious about the world inside and outside: she enjoys watching birds and passing people as well as exploring small spaces all over the house. Emmy enjoys playtime with wand toys but is pretty mellow. She’ll get spurts of energy and chase small balls around the house. However, her favorite pastimes are basking in the sun, napping in nooks, and of course, mealtime! Emmy’s day starts when she hears you making her breakfast. She’ll cheerfully enter the kitchen knowing her meal awaits to be followed by a day of leisure. Like clockwork, she also knows when it’s time for dinner. And, like most cats, Emmy enjoys the nightlife! Following a day of rest, she’s active and likes finding new places to explore. No worries as she does it quietly.  If you enjoy hanging out at home with friends — including the furry kind — Emmy is ready to sign up. Are you?
