My story

Meet Sugar! Sugar joined our rescue from the Guadalupe 18. She has spent the last few weeks in boarding decompressing and getting to know our team. Sugar can be a little shy of meeting new people, but warms up quickly into a sweet and affectionate girl — just like her name suggests. Sugar walks well on leash and continues to build her confidence. She is dog-friendly with proper introductions and likes to play a little rough and rowdy. Sugar has recently explored the world of toys and splashing around in water for play. Sugar would love an active and confident home that can continue to show her the ropes of how to be a dog. Sugar would also enjoy a playmate, whether that’s a dog already in her future home or going home with one of her siblings that’s also in our care.
