My story

Looking to rehome Goldie due to changes in housing and a busy work schedule. Goldie is an almost 4-year-old spayed Catahoula/German Shepherd mix, up to date on all vaccines. She is truly a one-of-a-kind dog—sweet, loyal, and happiest when she’s close to her people. She’ll follow you from room to room and has even learned how to open doors just to find you or take herself on a little adventure. She would do best in a home where someone is around more often while she adjusts, as she can have some separation anxiety. Goldie does well with other dogs and cats if they are gentle—she’s a sensitive girl who can be easily spooked and does best with calm companions. She has limited experience with children but is generally loving, and would likely do best with older kids who can respect her space. Goldie is not food aggressive, but she does like having a “safe spot” where she can relax undisturbed. She knows basic commands, loves walks, and lives for cuddles.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Goldie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
