Piper: Yorkie Mix DOB: 8/9/2016 Spayed female 16 lbs Meet Piper — 9‑Year‑Old Heartbreaker Looking for a Softer Chapter Piper has been loved since she was a puppy, but when her mom had to take on two jobs, she made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her so Piper could have the time and attention she deserves. She’s a 16‑lb spayed female, good with other dogs, and cleared by our vet for adoption. Piper is a little overweight and healing from flea dermatitis — a skin irritation caused by flea bites that leaves dogs itchy and uncomfortable. With treatment we started, she’s already improving beautifully. Piper is sweet, eager to please, and once she trusts you, she smiles — a real, gentle, grateful smile that melts you. We’re looking for a family who can keep her on the road to healthy with grooming, love, and a slow, steady slim‑down. She has a grooming appointment on Monday, March 23rd, and we’ll update photos after. If you have room in your heart for a senior girl who just wants to be cherished again, Piper is waiting. For Western WA adopters: We will be meeting approved adopters in Ellensburg within the next 1–2 weeks. If you are unable to travel east, we will do our best to coordinate a volunteer hand‑off closer to your area.
