My story

Beth is a quiet independent girl. She prefers to sit high up on her cat tree and just watch the world around her. She will snuggle and play with her brother Blake, but does not connect with any of the other animals in her foster home. She will accept a quick pet, but is not a cuddly kitty. She will do best with her brother Blake, or as the only pet in a quiet home, given time, space and understanding. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes by respecting these guidelines!
