My story

Some dogs find their way to rescue. Rex was thrown into it — literally. At just six weeks old, Rex was thrown from a moving vehicle. He was tiny, frightened, and had a broken leg. But here's what that little puppy did: He survived. He healed. And somehow, through all of it, he never stopped being loving. Rex is a Malamute/Beagle mix born December 18, 2025, and he is proof that resilience and sweetness can exist in the same soul. Still just a pup, he has already been through more than most dogs will ever face — and yet his defining trait isn't what happened to him. It's how deeply affectionate he is with the people around him. His leg has fully healed. His spirit never needed to. Rex isn't looking for pity — he's looking for a couch to curl up on, a hand to lean into, and a family to call his own. He deserves someone who will look at him and say this one.
