My story

Meet Wheat! Wheat has joined our rescue from Pinal County where he has gone overlooked since last November. He’s a young, spunky Heeler mix ready to find his forever home! Wheat is fun, playful and affectionate. He’s incredibly friendly with everyone he meets, loving men, women and children. Wheat enjoys a nice car ride and is a great passenger. Wheat enjoys training and loves working that herding-breed brain of his. He knows basic commands, walks well on leash and takes corrections well from firm, confident handlers. Wheat is crate trained and is both cat and dog-friendly with proper introductions. Wheat would enjoy an active home with previous breed-experience or knowledge that can provide structure, routine and continued basic training to ensure he settles into an amazing home companion.
