Dove had been living on the streets for an unknown amount of time before she was finally trapped and brought through a TNR program. Once she was safe, spayed, and vaccinated, it became clear just how incredibly sweet she is — the kind of cat who never should have been outside in the first place. While preparing for her furever home, Dove developed Feline Idiopathic Cystitis, a painful condition that caused her bladder to swell. Thankfully, with temporary treatment and a switch to a urinary tract health diet, her symptoms have completely resolved — and she’s been doing beautifully ever since. Dove absolutely loves attention from her people. She’s affectionate, calm, and happiest when she feels safe and close to someone she trusts. However, after everything she’s been through, she is very fearful of other cats (and possibly other pets) and would do best as someone’s one and only in a peaceful, low-stress home. She doesn’t have that chaotic kitten energy — instead, she brings a quiet, steady kind of love.
