QUICK FACTS Name: Laura Age: Born November 2025 (Around 4 months old) Gender: Female (Spaying to be scheduled) Breed: Dachshund mix Color: Brown, White Weight: 4kg / 8.8lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a city pound in Buan, where my siblings and I were at risk of being placed on the euthanasia list. I was one of nine puppies born there, and although it wasn’t the easiest start to life, we were given a second chance just in time. Now I’m safe, growing, and ready to leave my past behind as I look for a loving forever home  MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spaying to be scheduled soon. Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a super sweet, loving girl and still a young pup learning about the world around me. I absolutely adore people—I greet everyone with excitement and love being close to my humans. Snuggling in your arms or curling up on your lap is my favorite place to be. Even during training, I can’t help but seek out affection—I just love being near you and will happily cling close for attention. I also enjoy digging and playing with my toys, and I’m a smart little pup who’s always ready to learn. And trust me… I’m even cuter in real life.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I absolutely love people and soak up all the affection and pets I can get from everyone I meet. I’ll even show you my belly right away to ask for love, and I’m happy to be picked up and held in your arms · With Dogs: I’m a happy, optimistic girl who’s always curious about the world around me. I love making new friends and get excited for playtime—I’ll happily greet other dogs and enjoy playful moments together. I have a friendly, social nature and truly enjoy being around others · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a higher energy level and love having time to run around, explore, and burn off my puppy energy before settling down indoors. I’m full of curiosity about the world and always excited to discover new things—after a good play session, I’m happy to relax and recharge by your side.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m still working on my leash walking skills and improving a little more each day. I don’t guard my food around people, though I can be a bit sensitive if other dogs are nearby during mealtime. I may bark occasionally to ask for attention, but I’m generally a quiet girl. I’m also learning how to settle calmly in my kennel and getting better every day. For potty, I can use both indoor pee pads and go outside.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding that I’m a young pup and willing to be patient while I grow into a fine young lady   SPECIAL NOTES Volunteers and staff always say how happy and joyful I am—I’m just a sweet, loving girl who wants to be by your side as much as possible.
