My story

Meet Argyle — your future best friend with a heart full of love and a story of resilience. 💛 Argyle, who is 1-year-old, is an affectionate, sweet-natured boy who absolutely adores human companionship. He’s the kind of cat who will happily curl up beside you, soak in all the pets you’re willing to give, and remind you every day just how special he is. Before coming into our care, Argyle had a rough start on the streets and arrived with some wounds that told a story of survival. But those days are behind him now. He’s healed, safe, and more than ready to trade uncertainty for a life filled with comfort, security, and—most importantly—love. Because of his past, Argyle may do best as the only cat in the home, where he can truly relax and enjoy being the center of attention. And trust us—he’s more than happy to fill that role! Especially if it comes with plenty of toys (his absolute favorite—he can never have too many). Argyle is looking for a fresh start with someone who will cherish him, spoil him a little (okay, a lot), and give him the peaceful, loving home he deserves. In return, he’ll give you endless affection and companionship. If you’re ready to give a deserving cat his happily ever after, Argyle is ready to meet you. 🐾 Argyle is a buff & white who is current on vaccinations, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchips, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. From the Petfinder website (Petfinder.com) click the ‘More About Us Button’ and then click on the ‘Adoption Application’ button that will take you to the United Animal Friends website. Then follow the UAF website directions below: From the United Animal Friends website: Select "Adoptable Cats" and pick the cat you are interested in. To apply to adopt, open the cat's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.
