At West Valley Animal Rescue, we do things a bit differently. While many rescues take days to respond or never reply at all, we move fast. The application (link below) is the first step and helps us confirm that you and your household are a great fit. Once you submit it, text us right away. Lucie is an all around fantastic petite girl with a big personality packed into a very small body. Because of her tiny size, she will need a home that understands how delicate little dogs can be and will treat her with the extra care she deserves. She absolutely loves car rides, enjoys tagging along in a purse and is happiest when she is close to her people. Lucie does great with kids, cats and other dogs and has proven to be an easy addition to her foster home. She uses the dog door, is crate trained and has earned the privilege of free roaming because she is such a well mannered girl. If you are looking for a tiny companion who is sweet, social and ready to go wherever life takes you, Lucie is your girl. Lucie’s adoption donation includes her age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, spay, microchip, collar, leash and 30 days of complimentary pet insurance. Apply below to adopt Lucie. We are a foster-based rescue with homes mainly in Goodyear and Buckeye. If approved, you’ll meet a volunteer or foster family at a local pet store we partner with or at a foster home for adoption.
