QUICK FACTS Name: Dandy Age: About 4.5 Months Old Gender: Male (Neutering Scheduled) Breed: Chihuahua Mix Color: Brown and Black Weight: 4.5kg / 10lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I came from the city shelter— a place where my time was almost up. I didn’t understand what “euthanasia” meant, but I could feel the stillness, the waiting, the uncertainty. And then, just in time, someone saw more than my situation— they saw me. Since that day, I’ve been holding onto this second chance with a soft, grateful heart. Now I’m ready to start a second chapter of my life with a loving family to call my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutering Scheduled & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Dandy Hi, I’m Dandy, a tiny dog with 100% pure joy. I walk through life like I own it — happy, bold, and ready for anything. I’m bright, playful, and endlessly entertaining. I’m the kind of dog who just makes you laugh! I LOVE toys. I really love them. And snacks? Even better. I have a lot of energy — I play hard, run around, get super excited… and then do it all over again. I’m confident, adaptable, and ready to learn quickly. With a bit of structure and training, I’ll grow into an amazing, fun-loving companion. I am pure happiness in dog form. If you’re looking for a dog who will fill your home with laughter, energy, and nonstop joy, you’ve found the one!   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a people-loving little soul. Whether you’re someone I know or someone I’m meeting for the first time, I’ll happily come up to you, lean in, and gently rub against you like we already belong together. I’m very easy to pet — and I truly enjoy every bit of affection. You can even scoop me up with your arms under my belly, and I’ll stay relaxed in your arms, just happy to be close to you. I haven’t had the chance to meet children under 13 yet, so I may just need gentle introductions and a bit of time. · With Dogs: When it comes to other dogs, I just love making friends. Whether we’ve met before or not, I’ll happily walk up, say hello, and invite them to play. I have a naturally warm and social personality, and I truly enjoy sharing playful, happy moments with other dogs. · With Cats: I’ve had a chance to live with a cat before for about a month, so I’m not completely new to sharing a home with cat friends. I’ve experienced what it’s like to live together.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy going out for walks and exploring, and once I’ve had my time outside, I’m happy to rest quietly by your side. On walks, I’m still learning. I’ll need a bit of guidance and training to walk nicely, but I’m ready to grow and figure it out.   TRAINING & HABITS When it comes to food, I’m very relaxed with people — you don’t have to worry about me guarding anything. But if another dog comes too close while I’m eating, I might give a small growl. I just like having my space during mealtime. Sometimes, when I want something, I’ll let you know with a little bark — just my way of talking to you. I’m also flexible with potty habits — I can use both indoor pads and go outside, depending on the routine we build together.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I’m still learning how to walk nicely on a leash. I’ll need a bit of guidance and training during walks, but I’m eager to learn and improve every day. With patience, consistency, and a little teamwork, I’ll grow into a wonderful walking companion.
