My story

Thank you for your interest in adopting a cat or dog. We are open for adoption by appointment Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday-Sunday we are open for walk-in visitors from 11 to 3:00. NO Appointment needed Wednesday-Sunday. Please copy the link below to schedule your appointment for Monday and Tuesday. Hi — I’m Doc. I’m a gentle, thoughtful kitty who was left behind in a house with two other cats. We watched out for each other through a scary time, and I learned I love company — other kitties make me feel safe and happy. I’m calm, friendly, and I enjoy quiet pets, slow chin scratches, and curling up in a warm lap for long naps. I’m curious but easygoing: I’ll explore a new toy, then settle beside you while you read or watch TV. I’m litter-trained, well-mannered, and I do best with a predictable routine and indoor life. A home with another mellow cat or two would be wonderful, and a calm environment with patient people will help me shine. If you can offer steady love, gentle attention, and a comfy spot on the couch, I’ll reward you with purrs, soft head nudges, and loyal companionship.
