Thank you for your interest in adopting a cat or dog. We are open for adoption by appointment Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday-Sunday we are open for walk-in visitors from 11 to 3:00. NO Appointment needed Wednesday-Sunday. Please copy the link below to schedule your appointment for Monday and Tuesday. Soho is a 6-month-old, 23-pound bundle of sweetness with the softest eyes and the gentlest heart. This lovely girl came to us from a hoarding case in Winslow, and she’s still learning how big — and sometimes overwhelming — the world can be. Right now, Soho is in a tender stage of life where she feels a bit insecure and unsure of what’s expected from the people around her. But one thing is certain: she loves humans. She seeks comfort from the people she knows and trusts, and she’ll melt into you for reassurance, affection, and love. Soho is working hard on building her confidence. She’s learning to feel comfortable on a leash and is still figuring out how to navigate being around other dogs. While she can become scared when meeting new dogs, she does have one special dog friend that she absolutely adores — proof that with patience and proper introductions, she’s capable of forming positive canine relationships. Her ideal home will be one that understands the beauty of earning a shy dog’s trust. Soho doesn’t need perfection — she needs mentorship, patience, and someone committed to helping her feel safe. A calm environment with consistent guidance will help her blossom into the confident dog she’s meant to be. Underneath her timid exterior is an incredibly sweet, affectionate, and playful puppy who just needs someone to show her the way.
