My story

Meet Walter 🐾 Walter is an 18-month-old boxer mix with a big heart and a playful spirit. He absolutely adores his family and thrives in a home where he can bond closely with his people. Once he knows you, he’s affectionate, loyal, and always ready to be part of the action. Walter can be a little shy when meeting new people and may need some time to warm up—especially in busy environments or when there’s a lot going on at home. With patience and a calm introduction, he settles in and shows his sweet personality. He’s more of a backyard play kind of guy than a long-walk enthusiast. Walter loves playing catch and goofing around, especially when he’s entertaining his older dog siblings. He’s grown up in a lively household with a toddler, teenagers, a cat, and other dogs, so he’s familiar with a full house—but he may truly thrive as the only pet, where he can soak up all the attention and feel most secure. Walter would do best in a patient, loving home that can give him time to adjust and help build his confidence. In return, you’ll get a devoted companion who just wants to love and be loved.
