Ed & Pete: A Bond That Defies the Odds 🧡 Meet the most courageous duo in San Francisco! Ed and Pete aren't just roommates; they are brothers-in-arms who have cheered each other through every medical hurdle life has thrown their way. Ed (The Little Fighter): At just over a year old, this solid orange firecracker is a true miracle. After successfully completing treatment for FIP, Ed is now thriving! His bloodwork is great, his weight is up, and his kitten-like joy is officially back in full swing. He’s playful, spirited, and ready to make up for lost time. Pete (The Gentle Guardian): Pete is a 6-year-old "magical" soul who has never met a stranger. While Pete has limited vision and a few less teeth than your average cat, his heart is twice the size of anyone else’s. He is currently awaiting a minor specialized surgery to help him see the world a little clearer, but even with limited sight, he never misses a chance to cuddle his best friend, Ed. Their Perfect Match: These boys are a strictly bonded pair. They’ve been through the toughest of times together and deserve a "happily ever after" in a loving, stable home. Because of their history, they need a family who understands that they are special—not because of their medical past, but because of their incredible capacity for love. This Fee helps pay for Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Vaccines, FIV/Leukemia testing, as well as all other Veterinary costs. Adopters must agree to return the kitty to Jake’s Place if the adoption fails at any time. All Fees will be returned if the adoption fails within 90 days. Jake’s Place is a 100% volunteer organization. All Fees and Donations go directly to the care of our kitties.
