Thank you for your interest in adopting a cat or dog. We are open for adoption by appointment Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday-Sunday we are open for walk-in visitors from 11 to 3:00. NO Appointment needed Wednesday-Sunday. Please copy the link below to schedule your appointment for Monday and Tuesday. Meet Chica, she is a gentle, sensitive soul who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. She tends to be on the shy side and can be a bit scared in new environments, so she’ll need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. But beneath that timid exterior is a sweet kitty just waiting to blossom. Chica isn’t the kind of cat who will rush up for attention right away—but if you give her space, kindness, and consistency, you’ll start to see her walls slowly come down. Those quiet moments, when she begins to feel safe enough to relax near you or accept a gentle pet, are incredibly special and rewarding. She would do best in a calm, quiet home where she can adjust at her own pace. With time, love, and a little courage, Chica has the potential to become a deeply loyal and loving companion.
