My story

Thank you for your interest in adopting a cat or dog. We are open for adoption by appointment Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday-Sunday we are open for walk-in visitors from 11 to 3:00. NO Appointment needed Wednesday-Sunday. Hi, my dear… I’m Dutchess. I’m a sweet senior girl with a heart that’s still overflowing with love. I may not be a kitten anymore, but that just means I’ve perfected the art of companionship—gentle purrs, soft snuggles, and quiet moments right by your side. Not long ago, my best friend Samantha and I were left outside of a Petsmart. We’re still trying to understand why. It’s been a little confusing and a little scary, if I’m being honest… but through it all, I’ve held onto my loving heart. I still believe in kindness. I still believe in people. I’m the kind of girl who just wants to love and be loved. A cozy bed, a gentle hand, and someone to share my days with—that’s all I’ve ever really wanted. If you happen to have room for two, Samantha and I would be so happy to stay together. She’s my comfort, my familiar face in all of this. But if not, I know we’ll each find our way… as long as we’re loved. Do you have a little space in your heart for a sweet, gentle soul like me? I promise to fill it with warmth.
