My story

Meet Mai Tai! I rescued her from a shelter 2 years ago, but in the last year or so my work schedule has drastically changed having me travel about 40 weeks a year and now also having to fly back and forth to Chicago to for extended periods to help care for my father. I’ve been making it work by using great dog sitters, but just have terrible guilt leaving her so much and it’s likely going to get worse. I would love to keep her if this wasn’t going to be a long term issue. About my squirrel girl- I have an absolute blast with her. She loves toys and is great with enrichment games/puzzles. She knows basic commands and some bonus moves. She is decent on a leash, minus some pulling and def gets excited when she sees critters and other dogs. Loves walks, rides and adventures. But she is also so sweet and snuggly. I’m looking for new fur parent to give her all the love and attention she deserves as she still has so much life ahead. And a yard is a must so she can run and explore.
