How this pet arrived: Toby was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on March 22, 2026.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Toby! Toby is a charming and spirited companion who is looking for a home where his unique personality can truly shine. While he deeply enjoys affection, he can occasionally become overstimulated during petting sessions, so his future adopters should practice the "pet, pet, pause" method to ensure he stays comfortable and relaxed. This simple technique allows Toby to check in and signal when he has had enough, making for a much more rewarding bond between him and his humans. Toby has lived with other cats, but has found that he likes his own space and would do best as the only cat in the home. He is an active boy who would likely thrive with access to an enclosed outdoor catio, providing him a safe way to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Potential adopters should also be aware that Toby will require a sedated dental procedure in the near future to ensure his oral health remains in top shape.
