My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Molly Age: 5 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo mix Color: White Weight: 17kg / 37.5lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a crowded city pound, where I was placed on the euthanasia list simply due to lack of space. With so many dogs and so little room, my time was running out—but thankfully, I was saved just in time and given a second chance at life. Now, those difficult days are behind me, and I’m ready to find a safe, loving home where I can truly belong.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I can be a little shy at first, but I’m also a curious and friendly girl who will gently approach you on my own. Volunteers and staff often compliment how calm, sweet, and easygoing I am. I’m also a bright girl and pick up on things quickly. I already know how to sit. I just need a bit of time to warm up, and once I do, I happily accept pets and affection. From the very beginning, I’ll take treats gently from your hand, showing my soft and trusting nature. With the people I’ve grown close to, I’m a total cuddle bug and love staying near them. I’ve also mastered the art of finding the coziest, best sleeping spots. I really know how to get comfortable and settle in. And my cute little tipped ears tend to melt hearts wherever I go.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy at first, but I will happily come up to you to get to know you and warm up quite quickly. Once I feel comfortable, I really enjoy receiving pets and showing affection. I’m not a fan of being picked up right away, so I just need a bit of time to build trust first. With patience and gentle handling, I’ll open up and show my sweet, loving personality. · With Dogs: I like to greet new dog friends, but I don’t jump into play right away and prefer to take my time. I’m more independent and often enjoy doing my own thing. I tend to get along best with dogs of a similar size, and I’ve been doing well with the dogs at the care facility. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s going for walks or exploring, and once I’ve had my activity, I’m more than happy to come inside and snuggle up. I have a nice balance of being active and then settling into a calm, cozy companion.   TRAINING & HABITS I can pull on leash at times, especially when I’m excited, but I follow my handler’s lead very well and continue to improve. I have good manners around food with people, though I can be a bit sensitive if other dogs are nearby during mealtimes. I’m generally a quiet girl, but I may bark when I’m looking for attention. I settle down quickly and know how to rest calmly in my kennel. I’m comfortable using both pee pads indoors and going potty outside. With a consistent walking schedule, I prefer doing my business outdoors and will continue to build good habits.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding my love for food and willing to guide me with patience so I learn to become more patient when other dogs are nearby   SPECIAL NOTES I have so much potential in me and I’m just waiting for the right person to help me fully shine. I’m a curious and intelligent girl who enjoys learning and observing the world around me, and with the right family and gentle exposure, I know I’ll grow into a confident and loyal companion. I have a nice balance in my personality. I can be independent and enjoy doing my own thing, but I’m also sweet and affectionate once I feel comfortable. As I continue to build trust, I’ll form a strong, meaningful bond and become a steady, loving presence in your life.   MOLLY'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2711597##
