A kind neighbor would come by to feed me, making sure I wasn’t completely alone. And one day, they chose to do even more—they helped me get rescued. Because of them, I now have a chance at a different life. I’m still learning what it feels like to be truly safe, but I’m ready to leave that past behind and find a home filled with love.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Sunny—and my name fits me pretty well, don’t you think? People said my personality is truly like sunshine. I’ve always loved people. I’m affectionate, gentle, and happiest when I’m close to someone who will give me a little love…okay, maybe a lot of love! I get along wonderfully with other dogs too. People often say I have a soft, dreamy look in my eyes—and maybe that’s because I just want a peaceful, loving life. I’m easy to be around, full of warmth, and ready to give my whole heart to someone. If you’re looking for a kind, affectionate companion who brings calm and comfort wherever she goes, I’ll be right here, waiting to meet you.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a very loving and people-friendly dog—I don’t just adore the people I know, I’ll happily walk right up to new faces, lean in for cuddles, and let them pet me with ease. You can comfortably pick me up by supporting me under my belly—I’m okay with being held like that. And once I feel close to you, I’ll even roll over and show you my belly—that’s my way of saying I trust you and feel safe. I haven’t had the chance to meet children under 13 yet, so I may need a gentle and thoughtful introduction. · With Dogs: I love meeting other dogs—I’ll happily go up to say hello and invite them to play, even if we’ve just met. If there’s ever tension or a disagreement, I’m the type to quietly step away and keep the peace. I don’t like conflict—I’d much rather stay out of it and keep things calm. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outside and going for walks, but I’m not overly energetic. After a nice outing, I’m perfectly happy to relax and rest quietly. I’ve had plenty of experience on walks, so I stay close, don’t pull on the leash, and follow my person really well.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m very relaxed when it comes to food—I don’t feel the need to guard it, whether I’m around people or other dogs. I settle in quietly in my kennel and rest without any trouble. For potty, I’m flexible and can use both indoor pads and go outside.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
