QUICK FACTS Name: Ciel Age: Around 5 years old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Samoyed Color: White Weight: 17kg / 38lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from an illegal puppy farm, where I lived in overcrowded and neglected conditions without the care every dog deserves. Thankfully, I was rescued in time and given a second chance at life. Now, I’m safe and ready to leave my past behind as I search for a loving forever family who will give me the care, comfort, and happiness I’ve been waiting for.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m your sweet Samoyed! Sammies are known for being beautiful, gentle, and loving, and that describes me so well. I’m very friendly with people and truly enjoy being around my humans. And if you think I look good in photos and videos, I’m even more beautiful in person.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m incredibly friendly with people and love greeting everyone I meet. To me, everyone is a new best friend! I’m very comfortable being handled and allow myself to be picked up with ease, making me an easygoing and affectionate companion. · With Dogs: I like to greet new dogs, but I don’t jump into play right away and prefer to take my time. I’m more independent and often enjoy doing my own thing, while still being friendly and comfortable around other dogs. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s going for walks or exploring, and once I’ve had my activity, I’m more than happy to come inside and snuggle up. I have a nice balance of being active and then settling into a calm, cozy companion.   TRAINING & HABITS I can pull on leash at times, especially when I’m excited, but I follow my handler’s lead very well and continue to improve. I have good manners around food with people, though I can be a bit sensitive if other dogs are nearby during mealtimes. I don’t currently show separation anxiety, but I do form strong bonds with my person and may need some support during the initial adjustment period. With gentle training and consistency, I can learn to feel comfortable and patient when waiting for my family to come home. I may bark occasionally when I’m looking for attention, but I’m overall a calm and well-mannered girl. I know how to rest quietly in my kennel and settle down with ease. I also prefer to do my business outdoors and do best with a consistent routine.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding my love for food and willing to guide me with patience so I learn to become more patient when other dogs are nearby • Ideally a home where I won’t be left alone for long periods, such as a work-from-home household, retirees, or a family where someone is often around to keep me company   SPECIAL NOTES Since my rescue, my beautiful white fur has been growing back so nicely. With regular grooming and care, my coat is becoming softer, fluffier, and even more luxurious each day. I’m slowly returning to the stunning, cloud-like look that Sammies are known and loved for. I have the classic Samoyed charm—gentle, sweet, and friendly, with a warm and loving nature. As I continue to settle into a safe and caring environment, I’ll only keep blossoming, both in my appearance and in my confidence.
