My story

Moose is a sweet Shih Tzu boy who is 6 years old. He’s not a barky dog and is very laid back. He’s affectionate, but not overly needy. He does not do well with young children and isn’t a big fan of other dogs but does get along with them. He is potty trained and knows several commands. He does have dry eyes and needs a drop daily in each eye. He has not been around Cats. He is great on a leash and god for the groomer. He is on a Gastro food, which we will give you plenty of upon his adoption. He also loves to chase balls. He just doesn’t always like to bring it back! Moose is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will require professional grooming every 6–8 weeks. Adoption Fee: $375 This fee includes at least one health exam with our veterinarian while in our care, spay/neuter, all vaccinations (including rabies, as age-appropriate), a pre-adoption professional grooming, and a microchip with lifetime registration at no additional cost. Dogs also leave with a new collar and/or harness, leash, and a gift bag that includes, among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble currently fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also help us rescue the next homeless or unwanted dog in need.
