My story

Thank you for your interest in adopting a cat or dog. We are open for adoption by appointment Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday-Sunday we are open for walk-in visitors from 11 to 3:00. NO Appointment needed Wednesday-Sunday. Bambi is a 3-month-old shepherd mix with a gentle spirit and a playful side that’s just waiting to shine. She may be a little more on the soft and observant side at first, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet and loving personality really comes through. Like her brother Winston, Bambi had a tough start. She, her mom, and her sibling were rescued by kindhearted people who gave them safety, love, and care when they needed it most. After bravely overcoming parvo together, Bambi is now healthy, happy, and ready to begin her new life in a forever home. Bambi is still a young puppy, so she’ll need help learning all the basics—potty training, leash walking, and simple commands. With patience and encouragement, she’s sure to blossom into a loyal and well-mannered companion. She enjoys playtime, exploring her surroundings, and being close to her people. Bambi would do best in a home that will give her the time and love she needs to build confidence and truly thrive. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle pup to grow with your family, Bambi might just be the perfect fit.
