Meet Lucky, a sweet and friendly young pup who’s ready to find his forever family! This growing boy is full of curiosity and loves getting out for walks, taking in all the sights and smells like it’s his personal adventure. He’s also a big fan of treats! Lucky is looking for a patient and committed home that can guide him as he learns and grows. Like many young dogs, he can be a bit jumpy and enthusiastic at times, but it all comes from a place of excitement and affection. With consistency and positive reinforcement, he’s eager to learn and will thrive with structure and routine.A calm and supportive environment will help Lucky settle in and build his confidence. With love, patience, and plenty of daily adventures, Lucky is sure to blossom into a loyal, fun-loving companion for years to come!IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:76 lbs and growing. HOME TYPE:House or Townhouse- No busy or large apartments as Lucky has shown signs of general anxiety and can be nervous. Shared hallways, elevators, and high-traffic entrances can be overwhelming for him, so a quieter setting will go a long way to help him feel safe and settled.CHILDREN:Yes- Older children potentially compatible. As a under socialized and shy boy, Lucky would do best with older children who are respectful and understand how to interact with dogs. CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- Cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:First time dog owner possible. But his new family should be ready and committed to working on some challenging behaviors, such as general anxiety. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:At least two in-person training session to work on socialization, basic training and manners.HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Lucky is very human social and energetic once he feels comfortable.
