My story

We named her Penny because she was found outside a bank and she's got that rusty Penny look 😆 She is roughly almost 2 years old and not neutered. When she's super excited or nervous, she puts on the silliest smile and starts sneezing like crazy. We really do like her but she is skittish still, we don't know exactly how long she was on the streets for. We have other dogs but she gets really defensive around them. Hasn't attacked them at all but doesn't really let her guard down either. I think she would do best in a Home to herself. She had escaped out of our yard at some point and we found her with a severe limp. We believe she got hit while she was out. We did take her to the vet but couldn't afford an x-ray. We were told to just let it heal on its own. She can run on it and everything now but still has a slight limp. We are pregnant now and trying to downsize on everything but we want to try and find her a good home.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Penny, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
