My story

Hi there! My name is Cayanne, and I’m looking for my forever home. Let me tell you my story… Hello, future family! My name is Cayanne, and I’m a curious, bouncy, tail-wagging puppy with a big heart and even bigger hopes. I’m about 12 weeks old right now, but I feel like I’ve already lived a whole lifetime in those weeks. I’m writing to you because I’m ready to find you—the people who will be my safe place, my adventure buddies, and my forever family. I’m half Belgian Malinois, which means I’m smart, alert, and full of zest for life. As for my dad? Well, he’s a bit of a mystery, but I like to think that just adds to my charm. One thing is certain: I’m not going to be too big when I grow up, but I will have lots of energy and enthusiasm to share. Walks, playtime, training games, and learning new things? Yes, please! My life didn’t start out easy. When I was only about 3–4 weeks old, my mom, my brother, my sister, and I were found locked in a car on the side of the road, with the windows rolled up. It’s scary to think about, even for a brave girl like me. Luckily, a kind person found us and called the authorities. They had to break a window to rescue us, but thank goodness it was February and not July. Thanks to quick action and kind hearts, we all survived. After that, we were taken to the pound, and from there our lives changed for the better. We were transferred to Central Arizona Animal Rescue, where we were given the care, warmth, and love we needed to heal and grow. I’ve been safe here ever since, learning what it means to trust people and enjoy being a puppy. Now I’m happy, healthy, and ready to go home! I’ve already been spayed, I’m current on all my vaccinations, and I even have a microchip, just in case I ever get lost on one of our future adventures. All that’s missing is you. As for my personality? I’m playful, loving, and social. I like other dogs, and I’m pretty fond of people too—especially the ones who give belly rubs and talk to me like I’m the most important girl in the world (because I am). I’m still young, so I’m learning every day, and I’d love a family who’s excited to help me grow into the best dog I can be. I may have had a rough beginning, but I’m choosing to believe my story has a wonderful next chapter—with you in it. If you’d like to meet me and see if we’re a perfect match, please email mike@caaronline.org to set up an appointment. I’ll be right here at Central Arizona Animal Rescue, wagging my tail and waiting patiently for my forever home. With love and puppy kisses, Cayanne   PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail.   All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis.
