Gandalf 's Story Gandalf is a distinguished 12-year-old Russian Blue look-alike who found his way to the shelter as a stray, carrying with him both quiet wisdom and a gentle spirit. This handsome senior has recently been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism after a routine blood panel, which means he’ll need daily medication to stay healthy. The good news is that his treatment is simple and affordable—and it helps him continue to enjoy life to the fullest. Despite his diagnosis, Gandalf remains sweet, affectionate, and full of charm. He’s the kind of companion who will happily keep you company during quiet evenings and greet you with soft purrs and loving eyes. His condition doesn’t define him—it’s just one small part of his story. Gandalf is searching for a compassionate home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by love and understanding.
