QUICK FACTS Name: Sour Cream Age: About 1 Year Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo Mix Color: White and Beige Weight: 10kg / 22lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from the euthanasia list at the crowded city shelter, just in time. Because someone chose to save me, I now have a second chance at life and I’m ready to find a loving home of my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Sour Cream and I’m a gentle boy who just needs a moment to feel at ease. When we first meet, I might be a little shy. I tend to pause and take things in before I open up. But it doesn’t take long. Once I feel safe, I start to come closer, and you’ll see my brighter, more playful side come out. I’m naturally calm and kind, the type of dog who goes along quietly without making a fuss. Even if a new person picks me up, I might freeze for a second, but I stay still and trusting. I just need a little time to understand that everything is okay. I may start off a little reserved, but I warm up quickly! And when I do, I’m a sweet, gentle soul who just wants to be by your side. If you’re looking for a calm and kind-hearted pup to grow with, I’d love to be your little companion.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy at first but treats help me warm up quickly. Before long, I’m comfortable being petted and staying close. You can gently pick me up by supporting me under my belly—I’m okay with being held like that. I tend to feel more at ease around women, while men can be a bit intimidating for me at first. But with patience and kindness, I can learn to trust. · With Dogs: I love making new dog friends. I’ll happily go up to say hello and invite them to play, even if we’ve just met. I feel especially comfortable around dogs that are around my size, and I usually get along really well with them. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy getting outside and staying active, but I’m not overly energetic. After some fresh air and a nice walk, I’m more than happy to settle down and relax quietly. On walks, I can get a little eager and may pull on the leash at times, but I do like to follow my person and stay close.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m very easygoing with people around food and don’t feel the need to guard it. When I’m eating, though, I do like a bit of space from other dogs and might give a small growl if they come too close. If there’s something I want, I’ll let you know with a little bark—it’s my way of communicating. I settle down calmly in my kennel and rest without any trouble. For potty, I’m flexible and can use both indoor pads and go outside.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
