My story

We adopted Percy almost a year ago now, he is very young and could still use some training. He will go outside to go potty but doesn’t hang out there too much, he will go to his kennel on his own. Very sweet dog but very scared of everyone especially men. When men come around he does tend to go to the bathroom on himself.. so he does have some trauma there and I’m not sure what happened, I’ve tried to work with him around my boyfriend and he’s still just scared and hesitant to bond with him. He loves my 5 year old daughter and does do well with my other dog she is just older and not in the playing phase that he needs. He really needs someone who has quality time to spend with him and work with him to get him past his trauma or maybe he just shouldn’t live around men I’m not totally sure. He does also have paperwork for being an emotional support dog as well.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Percy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
