My story

My name is Maia and I'm happy to meet you! I'm a 9-month-old, spayed Pit Bull mix that currently weighs around 30 lbs. I'm a curious young lady who loves to play. I can be a bit shy in new situations but give me some time and I will give you lots of kisses! I'm hoping for a family that is prepared to teach me about the world and help me build confidence. I promise I'm worth it! Once I'm comfortable, I have bursts of zoomies, so I prefer households that are adult only or have children 10+. If you have a dog, I'd love to say hello to him or her before officially joining the family. If I sound like the perfect pup for you, just ask Customer Service about Maia ID#A0981800   Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions are 11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week (closed major holidays). We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
