My story

  Lucy - Female DOB 8/5/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Dilute Tortoiseshell Gorgeous Lucy is a shy girl, but lately she's been tiptoeing out to explore the main room at the rescue, and it's been really lovely to watch her curiosity start to take over. Lucy is incredibly soft, which almost catches you off guard the first time you pet her, and once she's decided she trusts you, she soaks up every bit of affection you're willing to give. She draws a lot of comfort from having other cats around, and she would need to go home with a feline companion she feels at ease with. If you don't already have a friendly kitty at home, there are several at the rescue that she has bonded with and who would make a wonderful match for her. A calm, quiet home without dogs or children would be the ideal setting for her — somewhere she can continue at her own pace, keep exploring, and maybe one day surprise you by jumping up next to you on the couch like she owns the place.
