Yes, with children around 12 years old, on a kid-by-kid basis.Could he do well with other dogs? Yes, on a dog-by-dog basis.Has this dog lived with cats? Unknown. [The Lycoming County SPCA does not “cat test” dogs per the Association of Shelter Veterinarian’s Guidelines for Standards of Care in Animal Shelters.]---Condensed Staff Assessment Notes: Cash has made progress enough for a full assessment but remains fearful in the kennels and hesitant to interact with people. It took time for him to approach me. Outside, he preferred to walk behind me and showed little interest in food or toys. He struggled to recover from being startled and avoided anything uncomfortable.
