Meet Waffle! This sweet boy is full of personality and is such a fun bundle of energy once he’s comfortable. Waffle enjoys attention and really being part of the action, and he’s sure to keep his future family smiling with his fun-loving nature.Waffle may be a little reserved at first in new environments, but he settles in nicely with a bit of time and reassurance. Once he’s feeling at ease, his playful, affectionate side really shines through!Waffle would thrive in a home that can offer him patience during his initial adjustment period, followed by plenty of opportunities for play and engagement! Come meet this sweet boy today.IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:70 lbs.HOME TYPE:House or Townhouse. No apartments as Waffle can nervous, sensitive to sound and can be vocal at times. He would do best in a home without shared corridors / entryways or shared walls.CHILDREN:Yes- Older children potentially compatible.CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- Cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:First time dog owner possible. Waffle’s new family will need to be prepared to work on helping him become more comfortable with new environments and work on sound desensitization. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:At least two three in-person training sessions to work on socialization, basic training, manners and sound sensitivity. HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Very human social once comfortable.
