QUICK FACTS Name: Black Bean Age: About 1 Year Old Gender: Female (Spaying Scheduled) Breed: Border Collie – Jindo Mix Color: Black Weight: 9kg / 20lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was once on a euthanasia list at a crowded city pound, and I waited without knowing what would happen next. Then someone saw me and chose me. In that moment, everything changed, and I was finally given a way out. Now I’m safe, learning to trust, and beginning to enjoy the little things each day. Life feels gentler now, and I’m ready to share it with someone who will walk beside me.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spaying Scheduled & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Black Bean. I’m always on the move, as if there’s something exciting waiting around every corner. There’s just so much to see, greet, and be part of! I like to check in on everything, welcome everyone, and make sure I don’t miss a single moment. Life feels fun and full when you stay curious, and that’s exactly how I live each day. I’m incredibly friendly with people, and I don’t hold back when it comes to showing it. Even the very first time we meet, I’ll greet you like we’ve known each other forever, full of excitement and warmth. I also get along well with other dogs, and my bright, social nature helps me fit in easily wherever I go. I’m an active and intelligent pup, with a playful energy that keeps things lively. There’s a clever, expressive side to me that really shines when you spend time with me. I’m the kind of dog who brings movement, joy, and connection into everyday life. If you’re looking for a lively, affectionate companion who will fill your days with energy and happy moments, I’d love to be right there with you, sharing it all together.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a naturally affectionate dog who loves being close to people. I’ll happily walk up, lean in, and enjoy a gentle touch, even with someone I’ve just met. Being picked up feels comfortable for me, so it’s easy to keep me close and cared for. I haven’t had the chance to meet young children yet, so I may just need a little time and guidance as I experience something new. · With Dogs: I’m a naturally friendly pup who loves meeting other dogs! I’ll happily walk up, say hello, and invite them to play. Even if another dog gets a little pushy, I prefer to keep things calm and simply move away, choosing a peaceful path every time. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have high energy level – I have a bright, active spirit and love getting plenty of time outdoors! It helps me feel balanced and ready to relax afterward. On walks, I can get a little enthusiastic and pull at times, but I naturally stay connected and follow my person. With regular exercise and a bit of guidance, I settle in nicely and enjoy calm, restful moments by your side.   TRAINING & HABITS I have a gentle, easygoing nature and feel comfortable sharing my space, even around food. I’ll sometimes use my voice to let you know when I need something I can get a little vocal when settling into a kennel, just to express how I feel. I’m adaptable with my routine, doing well with both indoor pads and outdoor bathroom breaks.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
