The days felt long, and everything around me was unfamiliar and uncertain. Then one day, someone reached out and brought me out of there. In that moment, my world gently began to change—I was finally safe. Now I’m learning what it means to feel at ease and cared for. I’m still discovering new things each day, but I’m ready to share a softer, brighter life with someone by my side.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m K-Uncle. Some say I look a little like a character from a cartoon, and maybe that’s why people can’t help but smile when they see me. I may come off a bit cautious at first, especially in new places, but there’s a warm and affectionate side of me that doesn’t take long to appear. When we first meet, I might take a moment to feel safe but treats help me open up quickly. Once I do, I love being close to my people. Sitting on the lap, leaning in for affection, and quietly enjoying your company are some of my favorite things. I get along well with people and have a naturally social heart. With other dogs, I’m confident and don’t shy away easily, which shows a steady and balanced side of my personality. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who enjoys closeness and grows more confident each day, I would love to be by your side and share all the little moments together.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly with a gentle approach and a tasty treat always helps. Once I feel comfortable, I become very affectionate and will even roll over to show my belly, enjoying those quiet, trusting moments. I’m also comfortable being picked up, which makes it easy to care for me and keep me close. I haven’t had the chance to meet young children yet, so I may need a bit of time and guidance as I get used to new experiences. · With Dogs: I’m naturally social and love meeting other dogs! I’ll happily walk up, say hello, and invite them to play. I feel especially comfortable with dogs around my own size, and I approach them with a friendly, easygoing energy. Even if another dog gets a little pushy, I prefer to step away and keep things peaceful, choosing calm over conflict every time. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy getting outside and taking in the world, then settling in quietly once I’ve had my fill of fresh air. Since I’m still building my confidence on walks, I may pause and lower myself when something feels unfamiliar. But with a little patience and gentle encouragement, I’m able to move through it and grow more comfortable each time.   TRAINING & HABITS I have an easygoing nature and don’t feel the need to guard my food, so I’m comfortable sharing space with both people and other dogs. I may use my voice to let you know when I need something or when someone new catches my attention. I’m relaxed and well-behaved in my kennel, making downtime nice and peaceful. I’m very adaptable with my routine, doing well with both indoor pads and outdoor bathroom breaks.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
